The Life Academy Centre for Psychotherapy Neurofeedback and Counselling in Edinburgh
Our Rooms
Our centre is purpose-built for counselling and psychotherapy appointments. Each room is peaceful and filled with ample natural light. We have shelves of books, wall photos with natural landscapes, woollen wall hangings and lots of plants that add a sense of calmness and serenity. We have also chosen our furniture in calm and earthy tones, making also sure that our armchairs and sofas are comfortable and cosy. All the rooms have soundproofed doors and sound-absorbing panels to ensure the privacy and continentality of the appointments. Additionally, we have room purifiers to create a more hygienic environment. We also provide complimentary organic teas and coffees. Regrettably our rooms are not wheelchair accessible.
Our Location
The Life Academy Psychotherapy and Counselling Centre is situated in a transport hub in the heart of Bruntsfield and just a few minutes from Morningside at 3B Greenhill Park, Edinburgh, EH10 4DW. We are in a quiet street, just off the Holly Corner, easily accessible by car and public transport, and we offer a quiet and discreet entrance helping retain privacy. The Centre is accessed through a gate on the right-hand side of the car park. As you walk in through the gated main entrance, please turn to your right, where you will see the sign for the Centre on the red brick wall and another small gate that leads you to the Centre’s entrance. Go around the back to the Centre’s green door, where you will see four different doorbells. Your therapist will have provided you with a room number; please only ring the doorbell matching this room (i.e. rooms 1, 2, 3 or 4 ), as other clients may be in the middle of a session when you arrive. If you arrive earlier and your therapist is not available to let you in, there are several coffee shops just across the road (including several that are open very early in the morning and remain open until late), as well as a large selection of supermarkets, restaurants and other food options.
